How will my products be shipped?
Due to the perishable nature of our products, we recommend that your order should be sent using a method arrive within 1 or 2 days of shipping. Items are generally shipped via FedEx Ground unless the estimated delivery date is more than 2 days. If the delivery date is more than 2 days, we recommend FedEx 2-Day Air. In order to avoid boxes sitting in shipping hubs over the weekend, we generally only ship Monday – Wednesday.
How much is shipping?
FedEx shipping costs are generally based on the number of boxes. For shipments going Fedex ground, shipping costs are $15.00 per box or $10.00 per gift. For shipments going Fedex by Air, including overnight or 2-day air, we can give you a cost over the phone or through email. Please provide us the zip code we are shipping to. If you would like to provide us with a third-party Federal Express number, we will accommodate you.
To what locations do you offer shipping?
We offer shipping to the 48 contiguous U.S states only. P.O. Boxes will ship by USPS.
How is my order packaged to protect it from summer heat?
In the summer months (May 1 – Sept. 30), we charge an additional $5.00/box for providing insulated packaging and reusable ice packs to ensure freshness. During extraordinary periods of heat, or deliveries to certain locations, such as Texas, Florida, or states that experience extreme summer heat, we may charge an additional fee for overnight shipping. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation.
When should I arrange to have my products delivered?
If you plan to use your products at an event, we recommend that you arrange your delivery so that your products are scheduled to arrive one or two days before your event. We can help you determine the best date for your order to arrive.
What if my order is delayed by the carrier?
Though rare, delays may occur due to conditions beyond our control or that of our carrier. We are not responsible for shipping delays caused by shipping services, weather or disaster conditions, or for charges incurred for redelivery attempts and/or incorrect address information. We will, however, issue a full refund for shipping charges for an error in delivery if the carrier is passing a credit onto us for the error. We are not responsible for any packages that are delivered to recipients who are out of town or have moved.
Am I charged for reroute due to an incorrect address?
If we are provided an incorrect address, you are responsible for any extra fees incurred for resending or re-routing your products. Currently, FedEx charges $12 for rerouting due to an incorrect address.
Can I track my order?
Yes. You will receive a tracking number provided by Federal Express so you are able to track your order.
Does someone need to sign to receive my order?
No. While you may request that your order require a signature for delivery, FedEx and USPS will generally leave packages at the delivery address door. Please try to ship to an address where someone is available to promptly accept delivery. We are not responsible for “missing” packages. To avoid damage to your order by heat or other weather conditions, we recommend that you make arrangements to minimize the amount of time that your order is exposed to heat and other unfavorable weather conditions.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
We are experts at shipping our products and have an extremely low rate of damage. However, occasionally it does occur. Please inspect your order immediately when it arrives. If your product arrives damaged, please contact us immediately (within 24 hours). Please hold on to all packaging material including outer shipping carton. We might request you take a photo of the damage, including the outer shipping carton. This will help with our claim to FedEx. Customer satisfaction is a priority for us and we will work with you to reasonably rectify the situation.
