How do I place an order?
We have a brand-new online shopping cart, which allows you to order our cupcakes, cookies, bars, cake buddies and many cakes directly through our website for pickup, delivery, or shipping. Most items can be ready the same day, or you can place an order for the future.
For custom and specialty orders that require special decorations or hand-decorated and logo cookies, we recommend that you complete our Contact Form found on our website and a Team Member will get back to you within 24 hours to discuss your order with you.
If this is a rush order, please complete the Contact Form first, and then give us a call at 973-379-0740.
How far in advance must I place my custom order?
To ensure the highest level of personal service, we prefer that you place custom and specialty orders at least two (2) weeks in advance. If you have less than two weeks before your deadline, we will do our best to work with you but may not be able to complete complicated decorations. For rush orders, please complete our Contact Form found on our website and then give us a call at 973-379-0740.
For most desserts found in our shopping cart, you can order the same day or preferably give us at least one day notice. More notice is always appreciated for any item you order from us.
Do I need to put my items in the refrigerator?
Depending on the dessert you are purchasing, there are specific instructions on caring for your product. A Team Member will be able to give you specific instructions depending on your product and when you will be serving.
Feel free to give us a call with any questions. Our phone number is 973-379-0740.
How do I travel in the car with my dessert?
Please put all Splurge Bakery items on the floor of the passenger seat or in the trunk of your car. Do not travel with your cake on your lap or on the seat of your car. Cake and other desserts need to remain on a flat surface. You will risk damaging your cake or other items if they are not on the floor or trunk of your car.
It’s Summertime - How do I serve my cake and other desserts outdoors?
Please keep all your desserts indoors during summer parties and bring them outside only when you are ready to serve. The hot summer sun will melt the buttercream, cake pops, cupcakes and other items very quickly. You will not be able to leave them out for very long.If you are serving at an outdoor picnic please keep your desserts in a cooler until ready to serve.
Do you offer nut-free, vegan, and/or gluten-free products?
We have a limited selection of vegan and gluten-free products, including cakes, cupcakes, cookies and brownies and while many of our products do not specifically include nuts, we prepare our products in a facility that uses various allergens, including, but not limited to, milk, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, and wheat. We do not recommend that people with food allergies consume our products and do so at their own risk.
What is your policy on cancellations or alterations to orders?
Cancellations are not accepted once we have started or completed production of your item. This typically means cancellations will not be accepted 72 hours prior to your scheduled pick-update, though you may call to see if we have started your order if you are considering cancellation.
Once we begin an order absolutely no cancellations will be accepted. If special cutters or molds or other items were purchased for your order, you will be responsible for paying for these items if order is canceled. If you are considering moving your party due to weather or illness, please call us in advance so we may be able to help plan out the best way to proceed.
What is your policy on refunds?
We work very hard to make every customer happy with their purchase. If for some reason you are not satisfied, please contact us and we will do our best to make it right.
Do you ship your products?
Yes. We ship many of our cakes, cookies, bars, cake buddies and more. Please see our Shipping Information or give us a call. Many of our products can be ordered directly on our shopping cart and you will be able to arrange for shipping right online
Logo Cookies / Graphic Cookie FAQs
What is the best way to send my image?
If you have a digital image, please use our contact form available on our website. You can upload on our website a high resolution JPEG, at least 300 DPI (Dots per Inch) – the higher the resolution, the clearer the image will print. If you have a printed photo, you may scan it as a high resolution JPEG and upload it on our website using our contact form.
What format of image do I need to send?
At least 300 DPI (Dots per Inch), JPEG format. All images should be at least 200 KB in size for the best reproduction. High resolution PDF files are also accepted.
While we can work with lower-resolution images, color reproduction and clarity will be compromised. We print in CMYK (Cyan,Magenta, Yellow, Black). We cannot matchPMS (Pantone Matching System) colors.
How much notice must I place my order for Logo/Graphic Cookies?
We request 2 weeks notice for logo/graphic cookie orders, though we can work within a tighter deadline if necessary. Cookies do need to dry overnight so same day orders are not possible.
Please give us as much time as possible. If your cookies are for a special event, we can make a sample cookie to check on how your file will print. Please always give us as much notice as possible for any order.

Can I customize my logo?
Yes! We work with a graphic artist who can help us customize your logo with writing, colors, and more.
You will receive a proof before we print to ensure the image is to your liking. Charges to work with our graphic artist start at $15.00.
